I am currently reasearching the descendants of a William Low who married an Ann Moncur in 1768 Dunottar Scotland.
William and Ann had seven children all of whom were born in Edinburgh Scotland as follows:- William Low b29/01/1775, Ann Low b08/02/1778, James Low b16/01/1780, John Low b13/10/1782, Margaret Low b14/08/1785,
Janet Low b13/04/1788, Robert Low b29/07/1793.
I am a descendant of William's thrid child James.
James married Elisabeth Denham in the Parish of Colinton on the 14/11/1806.
They had two children that I know of John Low b28/03/1808 and James Low b16/09/1810.
John married a Jane Addington and later immigrated to New Zealand in 1860.
