Hello Jomull,
I have been researching my family for about 2 months but only on my mothers side. Frankly I have been too scared?? to try my father's side because they were so nomadic that I thought tracing them was going to be a terrible headache. However, seeing your journal mention County Tyrone made me feel guilty that my own grandmother I know nothing about except her name, which was Kathleen Kearney and she married Patrick Gallagher and that they were from Co Tyrone. I know no dates but my father Charles (Carl)and his sister Margaret )Peggy) were both born in Christchurch NZ about 1925 and 1923 respectively. So I can only assume ages for Paddy and Kathleen snd no idea of immigration date. They were both deceased time I was born. I guess every second person had the name Paddy Gallagher over there but if you could throw any light on this I would appreciate it and then I could begin adding them to my tree where they belong.
