fran08 on 2008-05-17 07:17:43Carl Theodore ZIEGELER married Amy Amanda SCHULTZ in Mackay, Queensland, Australia in 1884. His parents were George Daniel ZIEGELER and Annie ELSEBYE (from Denmark?). We have the Australian descendants, and are trying to find the German side, if anyone can help.

fran08 on 2008-12-02 03:48:42A friend in Canada has done some digging for us, and has come across the address book for Hamburg in 1847. There's a George Daniel Ziegeler listed as living in St. Paulli, and he was a milchhandler. Does this mean he was the local milkman, or owned a dairy farm - or both?
