Searching for Walter and Naomi Eastwell

Journal by fredwards

I am looking for a Walter and Naomi Eastwell who had a daughter named Beatrice Maud whom married Henry Abraham at Parramatta. They had four daughters and a son, possibly more children unknown. Their daughter Fay Elizabeth Abraham married Fred Meek, whom are the parents of my wife. I would also love to hear from anyone with information on the Meek side of the family, if you have any knowledge or are a relative please leave me a message.

I couldn't find any bdm records for Naomi surname unknown and Walter EASTWELL in NSW or QLD. Perhaps they were from Victoria?

NSW Registry Births, Deaths & Marriages has two death records for Fred MEEK:-

Fred MEEK died 1907 Fairfield, Liverpool NSW parents: not listed. Age 73 years.

Frederick Arthur MEEK died 1974 NSW
parents: James William MEEK and Catherine.

QLD.

Dear Editor

I beleive the Eastwells are from England or Europe somewhere and Fred Meek died in 2001, my wife has never known any of his side of the family,he did not speak of them ever.

He only ever said that he was in a home in Parramatta, we don't know if it was foster care or if he had done something wrong.

We beleive he was married to her mother around 1959/1960 in Parramatta.

They had four children and my wife is the eldest.

Many kind thanks for your help.

I beleive Fred Meek would have been in his mid sixties to early seventies when he pasted away in St'Marys NSW, in 2001.

It is certain you will find more accurate information to enable you to research your wife's MEEK side of the family by purchasing the 2001 Death Cert via the NSW bdms site as listed above. You may have to photocopy your Medicare card as proof of ID. I haven't purchased any recent NSW bdms of late, only historical ones.
