I too am looking for a Alexander Crawford who may have been in Sydney in 1877. My Alexander was born c1823 in Scotland and arrived in Sydney in 1837 on board the "John Barry" with his parents Charles and Jane and his siblings Charles, Andrew, Barbara, Jane, Mary, Ann and Margaret. I have been unable to find out so far what happend to Alexander after his arrival in Sydney.

Hi Nessskin I don't know who married my Alexander but I have just relised I have the marriage transcription of your Alexander. His parents were James Crawford (iron founder) and Mary Dawson. Ellen King's father was William. Please let me know if you want a copy of the transcription.
