I am looking for the parents of James Hamilton Wilson, born on 3-29-1822 in Wirt Co (then Wood Co) WV (then VA). He married Mahala Petty on 10-21-1841 and died 3-7-1907. He is buried in the K of P Cemetery in Elizabeth, Wirt Co WV. I have the census records for 1850-1900 for him, all in Wirt Co. Below is a list of his children (that I know of):

William Turner 1849 my gr-gr-grandfather

P L 1863

All were born in VA (really WV).

I want to correct just one error. I found James Wilson's Death Certificate and he died in 1901 instead of 1907. It is hard to distinguish dates on a tombstone.
