William J. Smallwood

Journal by OSU_BULLET

I am looking for information, regarding a Mr. William Jackson "Bill" Smallwood. He was born, on October 6, 1863, somewhere in Georgia. Bill, was the son of, William and Mary Caldwell- Smallwood. I do know that, Bill was married twice.

His first wife, was named Maggie Caruthers. Together, they had seven children. Their names are as follows. Lilia/Lillie Smallwood- McDougal, William Marion Smallwood, Lula E. Smallwood- Cron, Beulah Smallwood- McCullough, Jphn Trousdale Smallwood, Charlie/Charles Smallwood, and Robert B. Smallwood.

He later married, a Ms. Fannie May/Mae/Mai Suddarth. There may be, a different spelling of, her first and middle name. Fannie, was born in 1904 in Kentucky. I do know that, Fannie passed away in 1997, in Tennessee.

I have been unable to find, the names of Fannie's parents. I do know that, Fannie and Bill, were married in Sumer County, Tennessee. I have been unable to find, no date for when they were married.

Together, Bill and Fannie had three daughters. Their daughters names were, Ruby R., Mary J. and Nelly R. Smallwood. All of which, were born in Sumer County, Gallatin, Tennessee. Any information, regarding either Bill or Fannie, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
