Charles (Born Feb. 1866) was married to Maggie Leffler, Had 3 children, C F Riley, 1894, George D 1898, and Alice 1902. Need to know who charles Riley's family is and where he came from. I have alot of info on Maggie, can't find anything on Charles....Charles was shot in a tavern in Redtown, Ohio (Athens, Ohio) in April 1903. Was buried in Chauncey Cemetery. I cannot find his grave site in NYE Cemetary and Chauncey Cemetery has been abandoned(UNable to find it). He was a coal minor. I know that they got married in Athens County in 1891. I know that Maggie's Mom and Dad lived in Dover Township (Hamley Run and GlenEbon in and around 1890 because Maggie's father was in the infirmary in New Floodwood. George, Leffler, Maggie's dad, was a veteran of the Civil War.
There was a son, Freddie born in 1892-93 (Must not have lived) and that there was a son born in December 1903, after Charles death and he probably didn't know that she was pregnant...named Pearley. I cannot find a birth record for George D or Alice Ann (My grandmother)Felix and Amanda Riley, Athens County, Ohio had a son born in 1866 or 67 names Charles. I cannot find what happened to him. They also had a Charles D Riley born in 1842. he died in 1876. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Maggie married Andy Cox in 1904. Charles' death record is recorded incorrectly it list him bein 70 years old and he was 34 when killed.
