A search of the NSW Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages reveals that James BOOTH married Mary COLLINS in 1863 at Sydney, marriage registration no. 310.

Do you have any knowledge of what happened to mary in Barraba? her headstone reads Broken etc.James went on to marry Sarah Jane Cutmore, are you related? My ggrandmother was Annie Cutmore who married William Booth in 1889.

It's the headstone that's broken not Mary. Mary was ill for two days before she died. I don't know what the illness was. I have her death notice from the paper. Jan
