Hello there Les. I am also looking for Simmons/Sussex relations. My paternal grandmother was born Ursula Mary Simmons. My understanding is that her father had property on the Isle of Wight and a department store in Portsmouth. Her first husband was Leslie Charles Badham who predeceased her in 1920, and she then married someone with the surname Aman. Ursula died in 1978 age 81 in a nursing home in Littlehampton. My father, Leslie Frances Graves Badham, her son, emigrated to Canada after WW2 and was estranged from his family for reasons unknown to me. I understand Ursula also had a daughter (Pat) with Badham, and then a son with Aman. Thank you.
