Hi My name is Heather Laverty and I am doing the Pankhurst family tree. My father Franklin Edward Pankhurst was born in Renmark South Australia and his parents were Thomas Edward Pankhurst and alice StClair. Thomas parents were Walter Harward pankhurst and Selina. I am not sure where Walter was born but think it was in South Australia as when searching the library records for SA in Brisbane came across a marriage record for Joseph Harward PANKHURST and Mary PURDY. They were married in Adelaide. I think this has to be Walters father as his name was Joseph and Harward shouldn't be such a common name. I have found a death record for Mary Pankhurst but so far haven't came across any for Joseph. I would be interested in hearing from any one who might have them in their family tree as I am trying to find out where our branch of the Pankhurst came from, SA just doesn't give much information on their certificates.
