Hello,
Thomas Freeman arrived on the ROBERT SMALL which left London on the 30th June 1858, and being an old ship, averaged only 96 miles a day, or four knots an hour, arriving in Wellington 104 days later on the 13th October 1858.
Then a week later Thomas caught the steamer, TASMANIAN MAID, from Wellington over to Nelson, where he settled
