Hi,

I'm not related, but after reading your post, I started looking online and found information on a Thomas Galvin of County Clare, Ireland married Honora Cummings. One of their sons was John Galvin a farmer of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, who died 22 Feb 1902 at age 84. John Galvin arrived in America from Ireland in 1847, and lived for a time in Quebec, Canada. Soon after went to the States and settled in Worcester, Massachusetts.

I found this information on google books...book called Historic homes and institutions and genealogical and personal...volume 4 by Ellery Bicknell Crane.

There may be a connection to Margaret Galvin.

Wish you the best in your research.

Regards,

Sandy
