William and Rosanna Aaron Glenn family

William Glenn was born in Pa. in the early 1700's. He moved to Ga. about 1790, living on Hunters Creek, just north of Carneville Ga. In 1808, Franklin Co. Ga. he married Rosanna Aaron b.1777 Amharest Co. Va. daughter of William George Aaron b. 1751 Amherst Co. Va. and Elizabeth {unknown}. William was the son of Daniel Aaron and Anne Snyder.Daniel was from Pa. and Anne was born in Germany. The Aaron family came out of Scotland. William Glenn and Rosanna Aaron's children were , Samuel, Elizabeth, Catherine, Andrew, Arminda, and William M Glenn .The Glenn family were from Scotland , but our branch may have settled in Northern Ireland about 1600. Most of our Glenn family say that they are Irish. This information goes back for at least 1oo years. Samuel Glenn b. 1810 Franklin Co. Ga. married Elizabeth Catherine Bennett. b. 1815 SC. to Capt. Hiram Bennett and Rebecca Anderson. Samuel and Elizabeth Glenn had abt. 12 children, Robert H. Glenn b. 1846, Lumpkin Co. Ga., being one of of them. He married Mary O. Edwards b. 1851, in Conway, Ar. She was the daughter of Henly Edwards b. 1709 Bute Co. NC. , and Lucinda{unknown}. Henly was the son of Thomas Edwards and Mary Mina Brittain. Robert and Mary Glenn's children are James, Samuel, Solomon, Hiram, Allie, Luther, and Claude Glenn. My grandfather, Solomon Glenn b. 1871 Faulkner Co. Ar. married married Cora Mae Green in Ardmore Ok. I.T. Their children are Robert, Birdie, Eva, Vivian, Isa, and Luther Glenn. Luther married Sarah Louise Dowdle in Ardmore Okla. 1932. They had 5 boys.
