I am researching the Wheelock and Mitchell families. I have a Robert Mitchell (or McMichel)b. 1783 who married Susan (or Susannah) Wheelock b. 1786 in about 1806. Believe their son Joseph Wheelock Mitchell is my 2nd great grandfather. He married Eliza Burnham b. 1806 in Sheldon, Vermont. I have a Wheelock family Bible which was purchased by one Willis Wheelock in 1862. In it are several birth, marriage and death records for the Mitchell, Wheelock, Burnham families.
