Searching for information for Alfred Selix

Journal by maxine06

Alfred Selix b ABT 1811 in Muskingham, Ohio d BEF 1868 in Gallia Co., Ohio. S/o David Selix & Celia Fletcher, He married Phoebe Jane Darwater/Derwacter/Durrwachter plus a variety of other spellings for this surname.
Phoebe was born Mar 1812 d Jun 1910 in Unionville, Appanoose, Iowa.
Phoebe was d/o Jacob Derwacter b ABT 1770 in York Co., PA & Catherine Wyant/Weigandt/Wion. Jacob & Catherine were married in PA.
Here's where it starts getting complicated, at least for me it does.
Alfred Selix and Phoebe Derwater had a daughter, Mary Ann Selix b 1841 in Ohio and married King Emanuel Harmon[this King E.Harmon was my husbands gt grandfather] King and Mary Ann had a daughter Margaret Mary "Maggie" Harmon who married Shelby A Davies.
I have said all of that to say this; I have been searching for some time to find out the history of King Emanuel's father, whose name was John Harmon and it seems was born in PA.
Now I have come across the name-JOHN DERWATER HARMON, I am thinking he surely must fit in this some where, now to find where he fits,,, is anyone have any idea about this name? Are you a family member or maybe this name in your files?
I would really like some help with this, if you know anything at all please email me, thanking you in advance.
