Name: Tane Taahi Makamira or Makamera (English name McMillan) married Merenia Wharetohunga they had a son Taahi Wiremu Makamira married Iritana Te Awa they had my grandfather Hone Taahi Williams (dropped the surname took the 2nd name Wiremu. So we are known as the Williams Whanau..
My quest for HELP is..
Where did my tupuna McMillan come from?
Who did he marry?
Where did they reside? ( was told Kaihu Dargivlle area )
Lots & Lots of questions...????

My partner and son are descendants, this is how their tree goes

tane taahi makamera + Merenaia Wharetohunga
Taahi Wiremu Makamera + Iritana te Awa
George taahi williams 1915-1965 + Marie Harris 1921-1968 both buried at waikemete (george is your grandfathers brother, i have georges death certificate, he died aged 50 which is quite young, i got his parents names from this record, i know from davids birth certificate they lived in oruanui in 1944 as david was born there, george was born in whangaroa, maybe your grandfather was too?)
David Williams 1944-1977 died tragically in an accident aged 33 + Rosalie Nichols both buried at waikemete
David Williams 1962-Living + Yvonne Lacey
Daniel Williams 1982-Living (my partner) Jodie Fletcher 1984(me)
Diaz JJ Theotoa Williams 2009 our son.
we are looking to trace back from tane taahi williams aswell, i have made enquiries with the nga puhi facebook page and they are looking into it on my behalf.
