My name is Amy WILLIAMS (KOTTEMANN) I am the daughter of Jacqueline LIEBMAN (KOTTEMANN, LANDA). Jacqueline's mother's name was Delores LANDA (SCHAEFER)b.11/1/1928 d.5/20/2010 in St. Louis MO. She married my grandfather Charles Joseph LANDA(b.12/25/1927 d.1/26/1984). They goty married in 1949 in Arkansas. They didn't live their they just eloped and came back to St. Louis. Delores's father's name was Otto Bernard SCHAEFER and her mother's name was Florence (ROHRBACHER). Other surnames involved are SIMEK, NEMETH, SCHNEIDER. The LANDAs were Czech and the SCHAEFER are thought to have been from Germany. There is also talk that some of my ggreat-grandparents had ties to New Orleans (SIMEK, NEMETH, ROHRBACHER, and possibly SCHNEIDER. Please let me know if any of this matches w/ your research.
