My grandmother was a Treffry. Her name was Stephanie Treffry and she was the eldest daughter of Spencer Thorton Treffry and his American wife Mary Emelin Davis. Spencer Thornton was the ninth son of Edward (Wilcox) Treffry of Place.

Someone recently told me that a branch of the TREFFRY family came to the US in the 17th century, and I am looking to connect with these distant cousins. If you could tell me anyting about that branch of the family, I would be most interested. I live in Washington DC.
