Letme introduce my self, I am Arthur Schwenke, son of Max Schwenke, my grandparents are Charles & Tamara Le Mamea.
I only know e fe names of the Gafoi Line and am interested to get some info abou this line. Peleise had a brother Gafoi See,and sisters Silaina Tifiga, Aivale & Tulai I have met Aivale& Tulai while very young. Aivale married a Tuiletufuga of Apia, they had children: Faletolu , Tifiga and Iputi and maybe others which I do not know,
I am in close contact with the Faletolu family, most of them live in NZ, Moli Tauave'a of Fasitoouta is the Sa'o of the aiga who is the eldest, Pua & Leisane live in Auckland, Peni, Taele, Suk and others live in Wellington. I have asked them to write out their family tree which I hope will get it soon. If I have more info. on their line I will let you know.

Sorry for not have completed your line (Matile) in the family chart for the Schwenke reunion in Samoa in 2000. I now Charles & Taumaia's record, Matike & Faamatuaina, and their children. I have known Matile while very young, she brought Letuu to stay with us in Lepea and attended the Leifiifi School. I have een that all Matile & Faamatuainu's children temple work has been completed. I congratulate the person that did all the work for. i know both Kalisi &Faamantu every well when I was Bishop of he P:esega 1st Ward in Pesega. Title "THE LE MAMEA FAMILY REUNION 2010' I thought that I would like to draft down on this space what we have found concerning our Family Geneology or Family Tree. Out of my good feeling I'm sure some of yous will be curious enough to have look and read. It is a good feeling to know your roots and where you,ve come from. You will feel proud and special. Yes the Le Mamea Family have done very well in keeping the Mamea records. Grand mother Tamara is well connected to her family and to her ancestors

My grandfather has told me all that he knows of his parents family, and he told me that his grandmother Aivales fathers name was Gafoi. If any of this sounds familiar to you please help me out. I also saw your post concerning the Gafoi line, and I was wondering if you had any relations to Aivale and her family. I want to know more of them.

I didn't realize that my father had an account on this site and actually posted. I was looking to verify some information on Julius and stumbled upon this.
I must admit, I am not well versed on the Gafoi line or Aivale and family. The names just sound familiar from conversations with Dad and regret not taking the time to dig deeper. :-(
