I am looking for any information relating to Lillian Edith Boxall, daughter of Abel Boxall and Margaret Penna. Lillian married Frederick William Hingston in Nov 1922. She was known as 'DARL'.

In 1954 they lived at 10 Donna Buang st., Camberwell with a daughter, Enid.
In Oct 1946 a daughter, Margaret, married James Reece.

Frederick Hingston probably died in 1979.

Any information about Lillian, especially when and where she died, will be very much appreciated.

Not sure if it is of any help but I've found a death for a Frederwick William Hingston died 1979 probably Ringwood, Victoria, Australia, Death certificate reference 16395/1979. His parents are given as Charles Hingston and Lilian Armstrong. Cheers Tony

Thanks for responding - I was aware of the death of Frederick Hingston in 1979. Her was cremated at the Springvale Cem 23 July 1979. I am not really researching the Hingston Family - Lillian Hingston nee Boxall is just a loose end in my family research which I am hoping to tie up.

Boxall Lilian Edith, 17 Victoria Gr., Auburn, home duties.

Also registered to vote at the same address were.

Boxall Abel., canvasser.
Boxall Edward., printer.
Boxall Margaret Alice., home duties.

Thanks for your response - I note that you are also a researcher of the name 'Neary' - interestingly I have a Neary in my family also. A Verena Cunningham nee Neary, daughter of James and Agnes, married a John Thomas Flynn in Bungendore 1929. Verena's first husband, Edward Cunningham died 2 Apr 1929 and is buried in Bungendore Cemetery.

Unfortunately I do not know when Verena died but she did have a daughter, Elizabeth Cunningham.

This may not have anything to do with your family but I included it just in case.

Darl, Lillian Edith Boxall Hingston died 1997 in Blackburn Victoria. Her husband Jack, or Frederick William Hingston died 1979, Ringwood. Jack was cremated at Springvale Cemetery and his ashes scattered. Lillian cremated Lilydale and ashes scattered too.
