Jenny467 on 2011-03-13 04:30:25Jane McGowan was my great great aunt. Do you have any other information on the McGowans? They appear to have lived most of their lives in Moyston (in the Stawell area) of Victoria. Jane's parents were Dugald and Margaret McGowan.
tonkin on 2011-05-09 04:51:11Sorry Jenny, have not put anything together on the MCGOWAN lines as yet, but I have come across the name in that area. I will be back into research mode in a few weeks and will try and track down your MCGOWAN clan and include them in a few journals.
