Researching TONKIN in India, England, and Australia

I am researching the family of Ebenezer Tonkin (b abt 1813) and Mary Ann Laybourn (b abt 1815), their descendants in India, Australia and England. The family left England for Australia in 1853. They left Australia for India in 1860 on the Fairlight. At least one daughter remained behind in Australia, having been married in Ballarat where the family had been residing. Another daughter, Lydia, returned and married William Morrison Glass in 1870.
