I'm looking for any family member of John WALKER born 08 August 1906 in Leeds, Yorkshire. He married Mary RUDDIMAN born 29 April 1927. They married in Camberwell, London on 25 January 1927. Their two children were Maud 20 July 1927 & John Denis 08 July 1929,both now deceased.
John Sr joined the Royal Artillery in 1939, he was captured in Singapore on 15 Feb 1942. He then spent the remainder of the war as a POW, working in Thailand (Railway), Singapore and various camps in and around IndoChina (Saigon). He was discharged on his return to England in May 1946. May have died the end of 1947.
I believe his parents were Thomas Henry WALKER born 1880 and Mary Alice BROADBENT born 1876.
