Religion was Quaker. she married to anson b. ATKINSON born 1860 in bucks co. pa. Religion Quaker, Occupation pastor, and schoolteacher.
they lived at (Residence)1920 south harrison gloucester n.j
they were married in 1891. they knew these people emma l haines, william haines, james hoffman, maybelle hoffman. they signed a autograph book of hers that i have. my grandmother was her daughter, and told us there were other sisters. they were called the given girls.one married a doctor. another married into the hunts line. when i was in grade school(back in the 50's) my mother and i went with grandmom to their estate for some kind of family event. we drove a long winding road into the estate lined with trees and gardens. i always remembered the grand stairway coming into the hall. it was bigger then my whole house, with two staircases going up on each side. and it was't a hall it was a room. i whispered to my mother, are these people rich. everyone near us heard me and laughed. then we walked into a room with sofas. it had more sofas than a furniture store. we ate lunch on the terrace. there must of been 60 people or more with tables out there. later the kids walked down to the stables and looked at horses. we left after that, but i will always remember that day. and from that day i'd wonder how they fit into my family and want to find out someday.
