- in 1929 Leonard, a Joiner aged 30 was charged (with Robert HAZEL, a wharf labourer) with gambling at 154 Taranaki St Wellington, the premises of Wong WAI a fruiterer
Margaret Withey died on 27 September 1928 aged 78

I have some additional details for this family.
Margaret Hay married St Mary's Church, Palmerston.
The marriage was witnessed by William Bowman, Farmer and Mary Hay, spinster. Both were living in Palmerston at the time. The ceremony was performed by the Reverend Alex Dasent. The couple made their Intent to Marry on the 24th March and at this time they both had been living in Palmerston for one month. As Margaret was a minor the consent to marry was given by Archibald Hay, who is stated as her father.
