Jacob/Jack Galos/Galas/Galas/Gallus was born somewhere between 1863 - 1868 in Russia Poland. He immigrated to the US 1893. In 1895 he married Victoria Nombrowski/Numbar who was born about 1874 in Baden, Germany. (Victoria's mother name was Mary (possible married names of Von Leek/Leek, Nombrowski & Oscar. sibly married a Von Leek/Leek and had two sons John & Julius.)

1900 & 1910 census shows they settled in Bridgewater, Somerset County, NJ. 1920 & 1930 census show they lived in Bound Brook, Somerset County, NJ.

Their children were Anthony 1898, Katherine 1900, Mary 1901, Sophie, Jacob E 1905-1996, Helen 1907, Joseph 1910-1912, William 1912-1927, John 1916-2/24/92 and Julius 1981-1994.
