I am new to geneology and i want to research my real dads side of the family, but i don't know anyone on that side so im not sure where to start.

his name; city he lived in; date of birth, city?; married to whom, where and when; date of death
do the same for his parents
get his birth cert or death cert if you know the info.
if not start with the 1930 census, if he would have been old enough to have been alive.
then come back and "we" will help you some more.
