A wedding greatly above the ordinary took place at St Sepulchre's Church, Auckland, on July 3rd, the contracting parties being Miss Eva Catherine (1865-1913) COTTINGHAM, of South-street, Newton, and Mr Davis (sic) Richard Henry DAVIES (1860-1946), bus proprietor, North Shore.

Archdeacon DUDLEY officiated.

The bride was draped in Nuns' veiling, trimmed with white plush, with the orthodox wreath and veil.

The bridesmaids were

Miss PATTERSON
and two Misses DONALD

Two of the bridesmaids were in blue, two in pink and two in cream
