LEE Millie Ching Shing 1906 died aged 1 month
- she is buried in the Dannevirke Settlers Cemetery
- Millie was born on 19 March 1906, a daughter of Chan Ming Fun, (aka Ching Shing) Lee & Soong Ching (Yen Lee)
- Registration Number from NZ Birth Death Marriage:
Family Name - Child's name - Mother's Name - Father's Name
1906/6627 Lee, Millie - Soong Ching - Ching Sing
- Ching Shing Lee was from Hargee Village, Canton, China
- their 5th son William Lee was a Pilot Officer in WWII
- they also had Jimmie Lee & Annie Ylang Lee and at least 4 other sons ...
If Millie was NOT their child do you know who was ??? and do you know the names of their other 4 sons ??

Our Ching Shing Lee must have taken over the business (Was it a fruit/vege shop) that the original Ching Shing Lee.
Typical of Chinese businesses of the day, the name on the shop window ddn't change, while the owners did change. From what I understand, the people who did the Stones directory, didn't actually go into the shops to ask who was the owner - they just looked at the name on the window or building. By the way, where did you get the informaton on Williem Jimmie and Annie?
