poorone on 2011-06-13 21:31:15I suggest contacting the library in Thomas, Georgia to see if something is written in a family journal, or in a history book of the area he lived. If you go to familysearch.org you will find the marriage of J. T. Wilford, but no parents listed.

I have been searching for the ancestry of the John T. Wilford who was the publisher of the Havana American in Cuba in the early 1900s. He married my great-aunt Margaret C. Davis (1849-1909?)
What a stroke of luck to find one of his descendants on Family Tree Circles! Have to thank Google, of course, or I would never have found it.
