I am looking for descendants of Jonathan SEXTON born 1828 in Wythe County, Va. His son, Harvey J. married Cassandra RENFRO Grayson Co. Va 1845. They later moved to Russell Co. Va. before moving on to Carter Co. Ky.

I suggest looking on familysearch org. When you get into the site, just click the Us,Canada,Mexico tab on the left, and go down to Virginia. Then put in your names. If you do that then you do not have to look at every other place mixed in. I have found information, and this site is growing all the time. Records are being indexed into this site.

Also, I suggest looking at Ancestry, and rootsweb.

Thanks. I just stayed a week in Wythe County and found some wonderful stuff. Wonderful people there.
