Hi there to all
My name is Reuben Els a grandson of William Woolley, who as i understand was born in Great Brittian somewere in the 1800's his dad[i have no info on him-sadly] migrated to South Africa when my grandad was only eight years old,his nickname was billy, all i can rememeber is a Cousin named Willy ,"a Bachelor all his life,[not sure if still alive]who came and visited from time to time ,Grandad had a Bus transport bussiness in The Old Eastern Transvaal And a Bord and lodging house in Geduld a extension of the Greater Springs,he later ended up working in the Mine's in and around Springs
He was married to A Ellen Prinsloo-My GrandMother sadly both my Grand parents has passed away, they had two sons and one daughter
The Eldest was William.then came my Uncle John And last but not least my mom Eleanor, all are deseased
I am under correction, but a nagging snipbit keeps popping up that he was a soldier in the second world war, unfortunaly i do not know if he was deployed in Africa, or In Italy
If any other Searcher as any info please assist
