Edward WALMSLEY C1772-1885. Son of James WALMSLEY and Elinor SHARPE.

of Drumcahy,parish Magheraculmoney, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.
In 1811 he married Margaret ELLIOTT and two daughters Maria
(Mrs Henry GRAY)and Jane (Mrs James IRVINE,were born.
He later married Sarah WALKER. In 1838 he came to Australia with his second wife and family on the ship "Susan".He went to the south coast and then to Ourimbah or Blue Gum Flat in the Hawkesbury River valley where he was in the timber trade, shipping and farming and inn keeping.

He was reputed to be 103 years old when he died at Burrawang in 1885.
The children of his second marriage were:James,Sarah,Margaret,John,William,Edward,Alice and Mary Jane.

this is an 'each person' searchable tree on site for Edward WALMSLEY which has his birth year as 1793-1885 ...

I am sure you have seen it but I take an extract and post it here for your readers. It may help someone recall the name of Edward Alfred Walmsley's (1855-?) hotel

... The Walmsley family were assisted immigrants who arrived in the colony aboard the ship 'Susan' in Mar 1839. The indent recorded:
Edward Walmsley, brought out by Government, a native of Fermanagh, Ireland, parish of Machinicalmanny ‎(Magheraculmoney)‎ son of James Walmsley a farmer there and Ellen Sharpe his wife, calling farm servant and gardener, age on embarkation forty six years, religion Church of England, could not read or write, was content with treatment aboard ship.
Sarah Walmsley, a native of Fermanagh, Ireland parish of Kilskitty daughter of John Walker a farmer and weaver and Sarah Sturt his wife. Calling - lived with her father, accustomed to farm house work, age on embarkation thirty nine on 1st July 1838, Church of England, could read but could not write
