I am a relative of Sarah jane victoria avery. She married Thomas lavington hart. Berry Avery is buried at the kew cemetery and he died 1916. He is buried with a number of his children. I have not got exact date of sarah's death but can do so if needed. Janiene

Had an idea Berry died in 1916. I was not sure because he was named as Perry AVERY. A simple typo error I expect.
Sarah was also another problem because she married as Victoria AVERY, and the wrong given names for her parents at death made it a bit harder to find her.
Had another look for Sarah's death but no luck today. I'm starting to think she may have remarried.
With your help I have been able to update and hope the extra details will assist others researching this family line.

I always believed that Sarah was a Hart until her death and did not remarry.
Berry Avery's parents were Phillip Challacombe Avery B circa 1823 D 1909 Barnstaple - Devon. His wife was Jane Perryman B 1826 D 1892 knowle.
Phillip's father was Berry Avery and his wife was Elenor Vye Challacombe.
It seemed the done thing to include the female line surname into some part of a child's name.
All thes families have lived in this part of Devon for centuries.
Do you need any more information back further or is it the recent ones you are tracing.
