If it's Henry James Emmett, he was born in Westminster, Middlesex, England in 1782 and died in Newtown, Tasmania on the 28 December 1848. He married Mary Elizabeth Thompson Townsend at Westminster on 15 November 1909.
If the above isn't could we have some approximate dates please?

Yes that is him. I have since been to Tasmania and spent a week in the library doing family history research. You are spot on Janilye. Are we related ? I am a descendent
