Hi,
I've had a quick look at Henry Cox and Harriet Conley to see if I can help you further.
Having a look at birth records and census's it seems that Henry Cox was born in Kennington, Kent. Which is east Ashford area. Harriet Conley it seems was born in Brabourne, Kent. Which is approx. 5 miles from Kennington. They are both in the 1871 census at the home of Harriet's sister in Brabourne, a month before their marriage. Harriet shown as sister and Henry shown as lodger and a brick field labourer.
I found Henry along with a John Cox who was born 1844 in Kent, on the 1851 census. They are both shown as orphans, living at Blean Union Workhouse, Herne, Kent. If this is the correct Henry Cox you would need to order his birth certificate to get his parents names. I'm not sure if there are any records for Blean Union Workhouse in the Kent archives but it won't be hard to find out. There is some info on the workhouse here
