Looking for any information on James A Brooks born about 1818 in Columbus Ga. Married Lucy R Frazier 25 May 1840 in Pike County, Alabama. Died 29 Aug 1855 in Monticello, Pike County, Alabama. I believe he is my gggrandfather. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I saw a Brooks family tree with James A Brooks (1818-1855)same birht & death info. He had six siblings, all names & dates are on the tree. If you haven't gotten the info here is some to get you going. one of the kids middle name is Cobb.
