My Great Grandmother STEAD was born at the Gatehouse of Stokesay Castle. Her Father was the gate keeper for the castle and the gate house was where the BEGGS family lived. I found this information on the back of a real photograph post card, of Stokesay Castle Gatehouse From The Keep CC369Walter Scott.

My Guess is my great grandmother STEAD was born late 1880's - early 1900's.
If anyone can give me more information that would be great.
