Wadham, of Carterton, was married to Mr George Butcher, of Masterton. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr E. Wadham, of Manaia, Masterton, and looked exceedingly nice in a handsome gown of cream voile strapped with silk, and the orthodox veil and orange flowers. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses and maiden-hair fern
Her attendants were: The Misses Maud Esther and Lilian (sisters) and Miss Nellie Wadham (niece) of the bride, and Miss Elsie Flanagan, and they made a pretty picture in their frocks of silk in various shades. Each maid carried a bouquet of cactus-dahlias, and wore a gold brooch, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr A. Butcher was best man, and the ceremony was performed by the Rev J. J. Bates.
