I am a descendant of William Wright, b. 1729 - d. 1833, from Westmoreland, Virginia. He was a Minute Man in Culpepper County, Virginia during the Revolutionary War. He married Mary Bledsoe of Virginia. They had 11 children. William was also married to Catherine Doran (no children) and Rachel Perry with whom he had several children. Peter Wright (b. 1700) from England is his father.

I descend from his son, George Bledsoe Wright - b. 1759 (who settled in Franklin County, Kentucky), his son, John Raglen Wright b. 1781, his son, Milton Thomas Wright b. 1818, his son, Lorenzo Dow Wright b. 1854, and his son, John Wright (my grandfather) b. 1903.
