Looking for family of my paternal grandfather George Sargent, siblings May, Sarah, Henry and Joe. George married to Anne Duran her family originally from Ireland and his Britain. His ancestors, I am told, began in U.S. with a member of British Army in the Revolutionary War eventually settled in Canada after marrying my great(? # of greats required) grandmother a member of the Blackfoot Tribe. My paternal grandparents had 3 children George Joseph, Barbara and Robert Henry Sargent. My father George served in Army Air Corps in Europe flying gliders and C-47s carrying paratroopers, supplies and wounded. My Uncle Robert Henry served in the Phillipines in WWII and my Aunt Barbara died in childbirth in Woburn Massachusetts where they lived. I know so little of them. Help is appreciated.

letele on 2008-08-31 05:32:01hi my father name is sargent i dont know alot about him as there seems to have been a few little secrects surrounding his life he was born in nsw he carried the nickname sonny and later moved to newcastle he has a younger sister aunty perl who resides in newcastle and i believe is still living my fathers christion name is kym robert.he had a relationship with my mother dulcie in queensland they had three children together the eldest is robert and my other brother is micheal and me the youngest catherine my parents seperated when i was eight years old my father still resides in townsville he is in early stages of dementia i believe he is in a nursing home.from what i have learned he had a brother george who lived in portstevens but has since passed away and maybe another brother somewherelse my father is eightysixs old.i have always beencurioues about my fathers side of the family maybe we could be related i now live in sydney am married with four children my now deceased uncle did a family tree search about twelve years ago my sister has all the original paper work i am in the process of retreiving it.maybe we could be related in someway i am forty five years old my name is catherine i also believe i was named after my fathers mother i hopr this information will be of help to you you are welcome to ring me on0413461931 as sometimes i dont have access to a conputer thanks catherine letele.
