I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and grew up in North Carolina where my Father was born. I have been researching my ancestors for 15 years and have quite a few brick walls, but I never stop looking. I may take a break once in a while, but I eventually pick it up again as taking a break gives me a fresh outlook on my search.

Since North Carolina was one of the original states and was a very important turning point during the revolutionary war, I am quite proud of the information I have found about my ancestors. In my search I have found a lot of information about other families who were intermingled with my own. I also do research on New Orleans, Louisiana ancestors since that is where I was born.

So many people have helped me in my search for my ancestors that I want to pay them back by helping others. I have compiled a library of resource books on North Carolina. I have access to local libraries and Register of Deeds online and am happy to do looks ups for those who need it.
