The Ballins of Germany and Denmark
It is now six years that I have been researching our Ballin family for our grandchildren and their Ballin cousins.
One of the family elders insisted that his father was a grand nephew of Albert Ballin, the shipbuilder whose Ballins came to Germany from Denmark.
Tracing ancestry is really important as not all Ballins were Ballins before the 1600s.
I have on my tree now a large number of Ballin family trees. Some are definitely not related. Others may be, but I have not yet found the connections.
