ODriscoll, Cork 1796

Journal by RoseofTralee

My great great grandfather Charles was born in Cork in 1796 and his two sons were born in 1826 - Charles (my great grandfather and 1829 - Timothy (great uncle) born 1829 in Bandon, Boherbue. I have found them in the 1841 England census living in St. Clement Danes, London but can only find Timothy's civil registration birth. I am looking for my great great grandfather's parents but also his wife's maiden name.

I am a Driscoll with roots from County Cork. My gg grandfather was John Driscoll who married Julia Dempsey in Cork in 1836. They married in the town of Leap, Ireland (parish of Kilmacabea) and had 10 children (probably more). They moved to London around 1850 and lived near St. Luke's. John had a son Timothy in 1841 in Leap.

You won't find your Timothy's civil registration because he born before 1864, but a parish record might exist.

here is my website if you want to communicate directly. www.ancestrysisters.com
