I am looking for some way to contact the person who is in charge and manages the Rains Grove Cemetery. I am
seeking info on my uncle, CLATON MILLER,b.Jul 5, 1903,d. Dec 30, 1924., who is buried in the Rains Grove
Cemetery. Daddy always said he died young from a coal minning accident. I cannot find an obituary or a
death certificate for him. I have checked the Tenn State Library and Archives Online Death Index for the
years of 1923,1924 and 1925 but no listing.

I have been told that in those days, when a miner died in an accident, the mine was not always in a hurry to
report it to the state. Someone said that the Cemetery may have death info on him. If anyone knows how
to get in touch with someone who may have burial records for Rains Grove Cemetery, I would certainly like
to talk to them. All of you Campbell Co. TN. researchers, especially the ones researching the Millers,
pitch in and help.
