James Davis & Annie Bell Davis were my maternal Great-grandparents. I was told they were from Alabama. My grandfather Robert James Davis was born Sept. 29, 1940 here in Cleveland, OH. Annie Bell I was told was born Emma Warren. Her parents died when she was young and was taken in by her great aunt and uncle or grandparent and changed her name to Annie Bell Sanders. I found a 1930's Census in AL with and Annie Bell Sanders but I'm not 100% sure it's her. Her mother's maiden name was Whitfield and her father's last name was Warren. The census record has a grandmother with the last name Whitfield and she widowed. Please help!!
