Cornelius Callahan married Margaret Helphrey ( Helsey) in Rockingham Co. Va..in the 1820's. Don't know who his parents were. They moved to Licking, Co. Ohio..and from there to Knox, Morrow, and Marion Counties in Ohio. Their three girls married Sherman brothers. They had several boys, also, Thomas, who married Leah Burt; and Daniel who married Mary Queen. Cornelius' will was made in about 1853 and I think he died in Morrow Co. Ohio in about 1855. Margaret, His wife is shown with Daniel and Mary, in the 1860 census of Marion Co. Ohio.and their family.
