Regarding marriage date for John Spinks and Sarah Casebeaush, John was first married to Mary Ann Wiseman 19 October 1802. She is the mother of Abraham and Thomas, possibly more. She died 5 May 1828. Sarah Casebeaush or Casebeaugh is the second wife.

According to UK BDM Jacob and Eliza married in 1853 so Jacob probably did not emigrate in 1842.

Eliza's parents were Henry Bird and Susan GARNETT (not Partridge) married in Castle Acre, Norfolk 18 Jan 1824.

Henry was christened 16 Mar 1800 Little Cressingham, Norfolk. His parents were James Bird and Mary Pooley.

Susan GARNET born 27 Sep 1802 (christened 3 Oct 1802) Castle Acre, Norfolk. Her parents were John and Ann Garnet

James Bird married Mary Pooley in Little Cressingham on 22 Jan 1787.

Thank you for your input. You are right about Jacob. He didn't immigrate until after his 4th child was born in England. I have record of Frederick Elijah Spinks being born in England 1 May 1861. The next child was born in 1963 in Canada. I think he stayed in England until his widowed mother Sarah Spinks died. I don't have her death date, but she was living with Jacob and Eliza in England in the 1861 census.

Jacob Jonel's mother Sarah Casebaugh was his father's second wife. This is what is on the Parish Records.
