I don't know if this is of any help but on 15th September 1851 a Charles Colless married a Mary Ann Lees. I do not have a lot of information but I understand Charles was born on 11th June 1823 and died on 23rd March 1898 in Mudgee NSW.

Mary was the daughter of Ann Bolton and John Lees born on 26th June 1834 and died on 8th July 1927.

I do have a couple of Mason families in my research but I would need to know a little more information. One of Ann's daughter in a second marriage married a Thomas Mason.

From what I have been told, by Dr. Brian Colless, - his forebear George Colless came to Australia as a convict as one of the earliest arrivals. He married (or common law wife..) Anne, and between they had many children, whose descendants are very many.
